2021 is a turbulent year. Under the influence of the epidemic, holding physical exhibitions will have to face more challenges than ever before. In addition to the uncertainty of whether the physical exhibition will be held at any time due to the epidemic, during the epidemic, the exhibitors and I could only talk remotely through the Internet, separated by a thin screen, and worked hard to communicate with the exhibitors. The parallel lines saw new ideas and consensus.
The twentieth exhibition is a more formal exhibition of achievements for the community, mainly with more senior cadres as the main body, so it is also a turbulent turning point for us, facing graduation, work, and the future. We met because of the community, and time allowed everyone to drift away on their own path. Each exhibitor has his own busy affairs. Some people are immersed in their schoolwork, some are applying for graduate studies, and some are preparing to go abroad for further studies. And my most important job as a curator is to find the point of intersection in parallel (aka put this group of busy people Catch them out and force them to hand in their works), to complete a generational summary of this society.
As an unsuccessful senior in science and engineering, this exhibition can also be said to be my transcript of my college career. I studied photography, traditional darkroom, digital micro-jetting and even frame mounting in the club. I also exchanged ideas and concepts about photography with many people. I may spend more time in the club darkroom than in the department library. For me who left my hometown to study in Taipei, the photography agency has almost become a second home, and this exhibition is a beautiful spark that we see.
